About Us

hello! we're the pink lemonade system, also known as the picnic basket paraplex. we're a mixed origin polyfragmented DID system with an unknown member count. collectively, we use it/its pronouns and use the words alter or sysmate to refer to ourselves, though some may prefer other terms. when in doubt, you can always ask!we're autistic + adhd, as well as having c-ptsd, madd, psychotic depression, generalized + social anxiety, bpd, avpd, and dpd. we are also chronically ill and physically disabled. the body is an adult, and that's all the information you'll get there.we like to be very meticulously organized, and we use a lot of microlabels. check out any category you're interested in below!

Origins

we're majority traumagenic, and we use a few microlabels under that umbrella, most notably neurotraumagenic and apagenic.our second most common origin is paragenic, due to us having a low introjection threshold from our paracosms. this is different from the reveribonds that enter through our gateways, as we don't consider our walk-ins to necessarily have an origin.beyond those, we have some physiogenic alters who formed because of our chronic pain + physical disability, some catharigenic alters who we manifested on accident, and a few members of miscellaneous origin, almost exclusively falling under the neurogenic umbrella.it is important to note that all of our origins are equally significant to us, even the ones that only apply to one or two members, and we expect all of them to be respected.

Details

we are an alloy structred polyfragmented system, meaning we have a partial internal hierarchy, only affecting some aspects of how our system functions. due to our polyfragmented nature, we have a large amount of fragments and split very easily. this also results in us being pyrotien, and not having a stable member count, though we know it is over 100. we also have divisions known as epochs based on the time period in which we split.we have dissociative identity disorder and dissociate very frequently. we experience both greyouts and full blackouts, as well as occasional states of dissociative fugue. a lot of us have strong amnesic barriers, we don't have good levels of memory sharing, we often have trouble communicating internally, and we find it very difficult to intentionally trigger someone to front. if we seem extra spacey or confused, please (nicely) suggest that we find/contact our siblings and/or do something grounding.we're a dreamway system, which results in a large amount of both paratives and reveribonds. it's also greatly affected by us being spinbased/autibased and fixabased/adhdbased, since almost all of our paracosms are based off of our special interests and hyperfixations, so we often end up mass introjecting from them. this results in us being pretty introtive-heavy overall.we identify ourselves as a fleirtien system, meaning we reject the use of roles for members of our system. we feel that it alienates members who don't have a specific "task" they're supposed to perform, as well as reducing our trauma holders to just holders of trauma and our persecutors to their destructive impulses instead of the complex entities they are. of course, we know that most systems do not use them in that manner; it is just a personal preference.

Headspace

our inner world is a post-apocalyptic landscape of a destroyed continent. the main area that we inhabit at the moment is a crumbling city overgrown with plants and foliage. we're slowly rebuilding it, but so far there isn't much in the way of hospitable areas. currently, our headquarters, so to speak, is located in an old repurposed high school - think the ultimate academy for gifted juveniles from ndrv3. the majority of the city is currently unexplored, and we're discovering new things about it all the time. however, restoring the school is our current priority, since it's what's actually being lived in.the unnamed cluster (consisting of the 39 subsystem, gumi, and teto) typically hang out outside of the city, in a desert similar to the one from the sand planet mv. it's full of destroyed electronics and remnants of futuristic technology. within the desert is a portal to an area directly inspired by sand planet (a haven in the clouds with a large tree in the center), which is basically 39's own headspace, and the only place where they have separate somas. their inner world contains gateways to the sekais of the project sekai fictives as well. you can either walk through part of the city itself to get to their area, or you can go through the subway tunnels; the trains themselves aren't functional, but you can still walk along them.we'll write more here as we explore and rebuild.

Our Terms

Sequien - A headmate created from fusion of multiple headmates who does not have many memories from the headmates who fused to create them, and/or feels disconnected from them, like they were a past life.Sector - A distinct section in the same layer of headspace, akin to a separate region in a country. There are no or very few travel or communication difficulties from a sector to the rest of the layer/headspace. Sectors are characterized by their differences from the rest of the layer/headspace in areas like appearance, temperature, day/night cycle, and flow of time.Link - A headmate with distinctly less communication difficulties than other members of a system. They may be able to carry messages between system members with ease. Being linked is not a role, only a descriptor of a headmate's ability.-dian - A suffix used for describing different day-night cycles, or lack thereof, in a headspace, layer, or sector.Soladian - A headspace, layer, or sector where there is no day-night cycle and it is forever daytime.Lunadian - A headspace, layer, or sector where there is no day-night cycle and it is forever nighttime.Cyclidian - A headspace, layer, or sector where there is a day-night cycle. It may be similar in pace and timing to the one in the shared reality or it may be completely different.Erradian - A headspace, layer, or sector where the day-night cycle is unpredictable or inconsistent.Acadian - A headspace, layer, or sector where there is no day-night cycle because the very concept is inapplicable. This could be due to being underground or in space, there not being a sun and moon to cycle, or for any other reason.Stressbased - A system based in stress. This means stress has affected the way the system exists, but is not necessarily an origin. This could mean that the system often experiences stress splits, that stress affects the way a system functions, or anything similar.Nebugenic - An origin term for median systems, sisasystems, or headmates that formed due to identity disturbance. A lack of a stable identity caused the formation of facets/medianmates. It could be considered a subtype of neurogenic.Slider Segment - A segment in a median or mixed system that attaches to headmates/facets and causes them to temporarily age slide.Nostalject/Nostaltive - An introject of someone from a headmate's exomemories. Often, they will share an exocanon/timeline with the other headmate, but not always.Apagenic - A subset of neurotraumagenic that specifies that a system, sisasystem, or headmate formed from trauma caused by a lack of care and/or accommodations for a neurodivergence or mental illness. Can be used in front of another neurogenic origin, such as apautigenic or apaschizogenic.Interlaced - A descriptor for a set of partitionary headmates that are connected in such a way that changes to one affect the other.Willospace - A headspace that was purposefully created, or in which the majority of structures were purposefully created.Catharispace - A headspace that was unintentionally created, or in which the majority of structures were unintentionally created.Aetherspace - A headspace that is based in spirituality, or in which the majority of structures are spiritual in origin.Physiobased - A system whose members, structure, and/or functions are affected by chronic pain and/or physical disability. This means chronic pain and/or disability has affected the way the system exists, but is not necessarily an origin. This could mean that the system has one or several shock absorbers or medics to deal with pain and physical symptoms, that some headmates could be categorized as spoon generators or spoon stealers, that the ability to communicate internally is affected by pain levels or amount of spoons, or anything similar.Reveribond - An active walk-in or temporary system member who originates from a paracosm. Reveribonds are very likely to exist in dreamway systems, and may enter and leave through gateways or whatever method they used to access the system as they please. This term is similar to intropara, though they are a bit different. Introparas are members who are in-between being paras and paratives, but don't fully fit either; reveribonds are paras, and are distinct from paratives due to not being introjects at all. A synonym for reveribond is parabond, though another term by the same name also exists, coined prior to this one.Corelet - The remaining headmate in an empty system after a system collapse, all other headmates fading or going dormant, final fusion, or any other event that left them alone. Despite the name, they are not necessarily the core, core-kin, original, or pseudo-original, though it is a possibility. A corelet is technically a singlet, but often feels little to no connection to the term, as they likely have memories of what it was like before they were by themself, and may even experience dysphoria about not currently being part of a system. If the system re-splits, the corelet may become a neo-core, especially if they were alone for months or years before other members split or awoke from dormancy.Neo-Core - A former corelet in a system that is no longer empty who is similar to a core, but with a direct connection to the body's temporarily non-plural self prior to re-splitting instead of the body's fully pre-plural self. Corelets do not always become neo-cores upon re-splitting. The longer it takes for a system to re-split, the more likely it is that a corelet will develop into a neo-core, due to spending more time as a pseudo-singlet. In systems who re-split more quickly, a corelet may feel that their experience is more similar to being temporarily front sealed, as it may have less impact on them than a headmate who spent months or years alone.
